Presentation relating to the upper respiratory tract are some of the most common reasons for visiting a community pharmacy and other primary care providers. While considered minor illnesses, these conditions have significant impact of patients’ quality of life and lead to a substantial loss of productivity and absence from work and school. Pharmacists have an important role in helping patients with acute bronchitis, and other respiratory symptoms.

Goal:

This webinar with Dr Nadir Kheir will outline the role of the pharmacists in managing common respiratory conditions through providing patient-centered care, and through working with the patient to develop care plans and monitor outcomes.  The webinar will explain the symptoms of acute bronchitis, and the role of the pharmacist in managing patients the condition, and we shall provide some tips related to asthma care.
