During the webinar with Dr Sanah Hasan we will introduce concepts related to administration of drugs to pregnant women, understand how drugs are classified to guide use during pregnancy, be able to provide appropriate guidance on drug use during pregnancy.
Goal of this webinar is to provide latest update regarding the safety of medication during pregnancy
1.General concepts of medication safety and concerns of medication use at each stage of pregnancy .
2.FDA pregnancy classifications and the changes that were introduced to drug information and labeling that needed to be provided by pharmaceutical companies instead of the FDA pregnancy classification.
3.Examples of medication use and their safety in treating various disease states in pregnancy will be covered.
